Does anyone maybe think that the high tempers and the stress and the tension among everyone in the fandom lately is because we've got less than 6 weeks left until the next book comes out and we're all cracking under the strain?

I just feel like every person in the fandom lately is going insane. Can we all take a deep breath, remind ourselves that there will be New Canon very soon, and just calm down about everything else?

Of course, there's also that pit-of-the-stomach dread that the book might:

a. suck
b. contain things we'll disagree with
c. resemble bad fanfic (i.e., suck)
d. contradict everything we've been "swearing" will be so for three years (plus)
e. leave us with an even bigger gap between it and the next one
f. leave us with more questions and less answers than we had before.


But...seriously, do you think it might be because we're all just going a little stir crazy from the pressure?

I totally agree, Carole.

I hope the new canon resolves things, and that we can all let out excitement about Nimbus supercede anything else.
