Quick Update....

This is a quickish post, as I'm getting ready to leave for FaerieCon!
1. Have downloaded and watched "The Kids are Alright" - Much better ep than last week's, and I *liked* last week's just fine, overall, but this episode ROCKED HARD. Will probably watch again at the airport....
2. My timing is great. Al Gore wins the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on global warming, including making "An Inconvenient Truth." What arrived in my mail yesterday, courtesy of Netflix? Yup. Will also watch that (in bits probably) in the airport / on the plane....
3.
goldsquare posted a link to this article which is highly interesting and worth reading. All about cursing - with the words included, even!
grouchyoldcoot, you'll like it a lot, I think.
4. This will only make sense to
etakyma but I love Rita. Just sayin'. And there are times I'd like to strangle David, but it's all good, really. Remind me about this and I might be able to remember why I'm saying it now to explain my crypticity. Suffice to say rehearsal went late, and overall okay, we got through the most complex scene in the play. But it was a bit stressful.
5. There is no number 5.
6. How sad is it that
ellen_kushner will be performing "Thomas the Rhymer" at FaerieCon...right when I have to leave for the airport to come home? Sigh. Bringing my copy of the book anyway, in case I can catch her to sign it. (This will be one of the first times I'll be able to say, "Wow. I read your LJ!" Hee.)
7. "The Golden Compass" trailer is droolworthy. Go Check It Out!
I think that's it for now. Time to square things away at work and go to Philly. Yay!

Date: 2007-10-12 07:27 pm (UTC)And meh - David will always be David.
Production meeting was hella late last night. I crawled home at 11:00pm. Good GODS we can talk things absolutely TO DEATH. And we didn't even get to costumes until after 9:30... Although, I may have a use, finally, for the WoOz witches fabric wall we made (exterior of a fairy tale Inn, anyone?). I think I folded it up and tossed it in a closet. I'll have to dig for it.
