Ever see something....
Dec. 15th, 2005 12:48 pmThat makes you think your hobby isn't all that wacked, after all? And maybe you and your friends really are smarter than the average bear?
Project Runway Message Boards. That's all I'm saying.
"Scrooge and Marley" is over, wah/yay. Time to pick up the pieces of all the other projects still pending. "Wizard of Oz" is cast, rehearsals start up right after New Year's. Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (selected) in Wellesley. My car will hate me again for making it consume mass quantities of gas. Living 10 minutes from the Arlington theatre spoiled me. I predict my Ramen consumption will rise.
I have to figure out how to watch Daily Show and Colbert Report and still get to bed by 11:15. Because dude, consistently losing a full hour from my normal sleep routine is just not going to work on a sustained basis.
I'm going to Yule this weekend, then Rochester for Christmas, returning to Boston for New Year's, then back to Rochester/Buffalo for AE 12th Night. I'd like to go to EK 12th Night in Settmour Swamp, but I'm having trouble finding anyone with crash space/hotel plans I can share. Hoping to network this weekend.
Oh, I guess the other big news (except it's not) is that we had a boiler explosion at work yesterday - no injuries, just knocked out heat and hot water for a few hours - and we had to activate the hospital disaster plan to transfer critical patients to other facilities until work crews could bring one of the boilers back online. I felt bad for people who had to stay when I was willing to do so, but was released to go home. It's not that I'm a crisis junkie, but I certainly could have helped had there been anything assigned to me. Instead other people wound up staying until 8 or 9 to do it all. Oh, well. I'm also not upset that I got to go home and do laundry, so whatever.
Sudoku is eating my brain. I can feel the brain cells dying. On the other hand, according to that quiz site place that's just a front for a dating site, I'm a genius. I always knew it. (I'm also a male, sexually speaking. I knew that too.)
Right. Well, this is entirely random. On the other hand, lunch has arrived, so time to eat!

Date: 2005-12-16 03:23 pm (UTC)Hmmmm...TIVO? VCR? DVR? DVD Recorder? :) They also have repeats the following day at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 8 p.m.
Not a big fan of Colbert. He was good on The Daily Show as (for me) he's great in small doses. Having a full half hour for his 'wit' is a bit much. End up turning it over to Cartoon Network and watching 'Family Guy'. Now, that's high-brow comedy! ;)
Glad to hear no one was hurt in the accident.
"I'm also a male, sexually speaking."
Think I'll pass on commenting or even asking what THAT meant!!! ;)
Here's hoping your Christmas Tree overflows with Ramen presents. :)
