-Have procured new job at Pharmaceutical firm doing work that is well below my potential, but it's a paycheck.
-Said job has strangely effective filters that keep me from being able to log on to email accounts (yahoo, gmail) at work. Hence, much of the last couple weeks has been spent just trying to keep up with email.
-However, I discovered today that apparently the filters do *not* target LJ, so perhaps I can keep up a bit better from now on.
Needless to say, if you've been updating your journals regularly and I've been absent, I'm sorry. Jobhunting, and the subsequent job *finding*, has been, well, hectic.
But I'm here now. So, what's new?

Will get details from the Kelly coordinator tomorrow - suspect it's just that my "Manager" a. can't, and b. can't handle the fact that I'm way, way smarter than he is.
Argh. He's right in one sense: it was not a good "cultural fit". But I think I deserved more than two weeks to adjust!
