Oh, my gosh.
Okay.
Jason Isaacs is so adorable in this role.
So, for those who aren't up on West Wing this season, Donna (Josh's assistant), goes on a diplomatic trip with Adm. Fitzwallis (ret.), Andie Wyatt (Toby's ex-wife), and a bunch of other Americans. In the penultimate episode last week, she had a quasi-affair/liaison with a handsome Irish photojournalist named Colin Ayres - our own beloved Luscious Lucius Malfoy, Jason Isaacs.
Donna and Fitz's car is blown up in a terrorist attack and Fitz is killed (grr, btw. They keep killing off the ones I like). Donna is sent to the AFB in Germany for surgery.
Josh goes to be with her.
In the season finale last night, Josh is sitting there with Donna when she wakes up. As he leaves the room a bit later, who should appear - with flowers! - but Colin. And he's all over Donna, gently of course, and he's all tender and sweet and concerned and acting like a lover!
And there's this *incredible* look on Josh's face like, "Noo! She's mine! My toy! You're kissing MY DONNA!"
Kee-hee. There was lots of absolutely hysterical Brad vs. Jason male dominance "she's my girl" struggle crap. It was beautiful! Go, Donna! Go, Jason! Shake 'em up!
I'm so going to be watching this episode off and on all summer until the conclusion of the arc next season.

But I agree with you, they should bring Aaron back.
