I weep for my country

Talking with co-workers at lunch yesterday. My boss is going to London for a week (I'm so much with the jealous) and taking her whole family.

My co-worker: "What are they doing about Thanksgiving? Don't they celebrate it over there?"

No, they don't. Remember what Thanksgiving is supposedly about? Pilgrims? New world? Indians? Ring a bell?

Honestly, sometimes....
