So... is it bad to walk into an interview, see a sign on the front door of the building that says, "This is a smoke and profanity-free work environment," and have your immediate (internal) reaction be: Profanity-free? What the fuck is up with that?
Um.. yeah. Otherwise it seems quite a nice company.
Update: Yes, I still haven't found a job. I'm working transcription, which is great for my typing skills, not so great for wanting to transcribe bardic symposium tapes at home. My computer (which was very sick!) is all back from the hospital, but now the wireless card for some reason can get past the router to the actual net, which doesn't do me a whole lot of good. With luck, Joel will have come up with a brilliant solution tonight, or alternatively, the wireless card will spontaneously decide to work and keep working. Either way would be nice.
Rehearsal tonight, which means that after tonight, both my scenes will be blocked. Guess I better learn my lines.
Ugh. Back to typing.
