Absolutely amazing from start to finish. This was a marvelous read.
I couldn't help a laugh at Dean in the first segment, thinking Sam was the only one who'd be getting John's punishment. He ought to know he wouldn't get off that easy! And Sammy's refusal to drop the argument -- even after it gets them sentenced to a 2 mile walk -- was perfect. I can picture him being stubborn even at that age. ;)
The last segment was just heartbreaking. I love the detail of Dean leaving Sam written instructions on how to take care of his "baby". And that final line was perfection.
