I'm sorry you're having such a rough time finding something. Have you thought about temping in the meantime, just to bring in some extra cash? Spherion is the Harvard temp agency, and they also do a lot of temp-to-permanent transitions. It could be something to get your foot in the door and meet some supervisors who might know of openings on your career track.
