Hey, I know that name....

Okay, so first of all, there's something in the water. Heidi had her baby, and a couple hours after her birth announcement, there's an ultrasound picture in my inbox from another friend. They're having a girl. Then today, another friend emailed me to let me know that she can't be at War Practice, and could I attend the staff meeting and take notes for her (yes), and oh, by the way, she's pregnant, too, and she'll be about 5 months along come Pennsic.

I'm happy for all of them, really. Just don't expect me to jump on the bandwagon.


In other news, life is full of surprises. Reading my online NYT, I clicked on an article about a Maurice Sendak exhibit:

and who should appear quoted on the second page but John Cech, one of the presenters at The Witching Hour.
