I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this! Few things beat a good hostage situation, and this was a really good hostage situation. Long, and complex, and human villains, which I adore. I loved Sam and Dean being competent, clever and brave but not perfect, still young and second-guessing themselves and failing to take out grown cops in one on one fights (but then totally playing along afterwards). It was the perfect balance of the finely oiled Winchester fighting machine, with Sam the most protected at the bottom of the hierarchy, and Dean and Sam's actual teen ages. Thank you!
