I generally find wee!Sam's voice a lot easier to find than older Sam. Oddly enough, it was writing Trost und Freude (http://gwendolyngrace.livejournal.com/76464.html) that I really connected to wee!Sam. Before I started that project, I wasn't sure I'd get enough out of him for his own POV. But I discovered that once you get him started, he's hard to stop!
And he's SO sincere about everything. It's like Linus van Pelt with Dean as his security blanket.
