(I'm still not dead. Had a contender for "worst birthday ever" but with any luck it's a bad start to a good year. It started with the spider terrorizing me at my desk on Tuesday morning, continued through additional craziness from the additionally crazy boss, included a little bit of theatre stupidity just for good measure, and ended with the police officer who laid a very nice little speedtrap. Luckily that was just a "written warning" but man. 38 in a 25 at 10:30 at night, with NO other traffic on the road? Yeesh.)
