Well, that's done.

Finished the ASOIAF fic for Yuletide. Didn't even bother to have it beta'd - just re-read it quickly for grammar and sent it off. It's uploaded here:

The Art of Dining

And it's not awful. It's not particularly good, but it fulfills the request, so yay. Go me.

Back to SPN now! Which is good, because I've got two more plot bunnies as of this weekend.

Four comments have trickled in about my Sandman fic - all very positive. But I'm greedy; I want more! I know, I know, it's LONG. Gotta be patient. To quote Inigo Montoyez, "I hate waiting." BTW, for Sandman peeps who don't know SPN, you also don't need to know Supernatural. So read it.

It's only 11:20 and I don't feel like going to bed, but I feel like it's late. It's because it's Sunday. But no work tomorrow. Yay.

As soon as I finish up my long overdue request, I'm going to be reading your story. I posted a 23,000 word fic as part of the [livejournal.com profile] spn_xx challenge about three weeks ago now and comments are still coming in for it. I say this only to reassure you that people do read the longer fics. ;-P

And I've already seen it recc'd in a couple of places, so the word is definitely getting out there!

I read that fic. And it was amazing - I think that's the fic that prompted me to friend your journals.

And yeah, I'm really, really bad, because here I am whinging about wanting comments, and I don't remember if I even left a comment for you on it.

But yes, I know you're right - I have to give it time to trickle through, and for every review I get, there's probably 3-10 people who read but didn't comment.
