But I know what you mean. There've been times when I've written something in which I've groomed and agonised over almost every word ... and the reader response is sort of "meh." Then again I'll dash something off and post it with a shrug - and people fall all over the darned thing!

Anyhow, I'm very glad to've been the vehicle of or spark to your creativity, lol! Maybe off the cuff *is* good for us. Should we have a "cuff-off" amongst our flisties, and see what we can come up with in 30 after seeing a prompt? LOL!
