The punishment was appropriate and well deserved - I did wonder what they would get for Christmas though- even though there would be no big gift. In a way John lucked out - he didn't have to feel bad about not being able to get Sam his Transformer - Sam knows why he wont get it.

but I really loved is seeing the emerging of Dean the player - innocent as a new born lamb, befuddled, experiencing the first inklings of attraction to the opposite sex and trying to figure out if he liked it or not. So cute and so so funny
