Thanks! I do think Dean's high school experience was highly atypical, and not just because he bounced around.

Few kids have a sense of purpose so early in life, but it does really change one's choices. I know that I felt way out of synch from most of my classmates, mainly because I knew what I wanted to do and they were all still drifting around trying to find their callings.

I love the boys when they're able to be brothers...and there's a bonus in it for me when Dean can be fraternal and parental in the same breath.
