Yeah, I thought briefly about having some scene at Project QL but it didn't seem necessary. I think hearing Al's assessment leaves y'all to imagine a much less rational John Winchester--and a funnier one--than I could write.

Of course, this whole fic is completely joss'd now, because it's now a. set six months before Sam found out about hunting and b. presupposes that he knew about it and was able to help on the non-dangerous parts for a much longer time, but heck.

I try with all my x-overs to bring in the feel of both the original media, so I'm glad that that worked.
