Ooh... I made F_W

Le grand sigh.

Something else to ignore

F_W does not understand the difference between a rant and a reasoned opinion.

And sometimes, apparently, neither does FictionAlley.

Oh, Gwen, why don't you just leave the fandom already, okay? ;-)

It just goes to show that some people have no sense of humour. Or take themselves too seriously. Or both. Or whatever. ::grin::

You want to know my little secret? I haven't even read the entire interview yet. I got about half way through and decided I just couldn't be bothered. I think (well, I know) that this says more about me than it does about JKR or the books or anyone else . . . I've just lost the extreme level of interest in the whole thing that I once had, and a few little tidbits isn't enough to get me excited. I want book 6. Well, actually, I want book 7, truth be told. :-)

Oh - and if I'm not mistaken, I believe you'll also find "Criminently" in The Aristocats.

Rant vs. reasoned opinion

I think they both do understand the difference between a rant and a reasoned opinion. Reasoned opinions don't usually go in for self-important hyperbole. Saying something is a rant does not give the ranter the license to be ugly, mean, or cruel.
