I have a washer/dryer in my house, which is adequate for doing the usual load here, load there.
But usually when I have heavy-duty amounts of laundry, like after Pennsic, I'll take it all to the laundromat because it's faster. I can get 5-6 loads done in the 3 hours instead of it taking all day or all weekend to do it at home.
And in particular this time, because I had a week in SF, 5 days in San Diego, and then only 4 days at home (while working 12+ hours per day at work!) between those trips and Pennsic. So I had about a month's worth of laundry *PLUS* all my garb.
