Any time I say Supernatural it's a fair bet I'm talking about Show.

I read Timeline a long time ago, and liked the book a lot. The movie was rather a mess, but as a movie, it was okay. Nowhere near as good as the book. But then Crichton books rarely make amazing movies (witness the new "Andromeda Strain").
